i woke to a snow filled landscape

this is my first posting and today its snowing , a bit of a ' shock ' after being in thailand for a month . but hey, im brown and looks pretty brown against the landscape. yes, im in scotland in the hills and its supposed to nearly be spring ........ thailand was great and warm , the temples amazing , the diving even better and the food sublime. Bangkok was so humid and so stifling but incredibly energetic and surreal at times. i loved it and will definately move to the top of the list of insane cities i have visited . And there have been a few .............mmmmm Cairo (incredible), Bombay ( oh my god!) Istanbul , athens ,New orleans , CApe town ( my lovely home town) , Kansas city ( we dont talk about this one ) jerusalem ( the holiest city in the world ? a bit of a party town ) Tel aviv ( a bit scary ) Amsterdam ( cant remember ) Prague ( like a fairytale) ,London ( well , just a short flight away) and a few others and still a long list of places to get lost in and the food ..........................i love cooking anything exotic . and creating drinks that usuallly leave my friends slightly worse for wear. well , you gotta experiment on somebody !!!! well, anyway , a cold day , will make some sahlab( a fab egyptian drinkto soothe shattered souls) and contemplate the spring and the flowering of bluebells and primroses .
